The task of our team was to carry out commissioning and software development for winding station and automatic roll changeover for the line type NAR1200 manufactured by KM Berstorff in the Spanish tyre factory Michelin in Aranda. The contract was implemented in the first quarter of 2016.

The automation system was based on control system manufactured by Rockwell Automation: integrated control and safety system GuardLogix, PolinIO modules, PowerFlex 755 and 525 drives, with the use of positioning functionality.
