Our task was to activate the line extruding the thread of tyres for KraussMaffei Bersdorf trucks in the emerging tyre factory in China. In the course of a half a year contract we carried out a successful commissioning of automation system, i.e.: software development, I/O tests, corrections of electrical installations, configurations and tunning of the drives and PID loops, as well as start-ups of safety systems.

The control system was based on Allen-Bradley hardware: 3 ControlLogix modules, panels PanelView Plus CE, more than 50 PowerFlex 700/70EC drives, Ethernet/IP architecture and PointIO modules – approximately 3000 I/O modules, AC drives from Control Techniques with power capacity up to 600kW.
